Mercedes-Benz Comes Out on Top in October Sales

Trick-or-treating isn't just for kids. As it turns out, certain luxury automakers had their fills of tricks and treats at the end of October this year, as Mercedes-Benz and Beamer went head to head in sales. It was the Tri-Pointed Star that ended up winning a treat, and the Bavarian automaker that ended with a trick as Mercedes-Benz sales trumped BMW sales in October; something that we here at Mercedes-Benz of Fort Wayne were delighted to see.

After all, what's better than a little healthy competition between German luxury automakers? For Mercedes-Benz it's all fun, as they ended the month with a 23-percent total gain in sales, which topped off at ten percent more than their Bavarian rivals.

What prompted this incredible spike in sales? All signs are pointing to the newly-introduced 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe, which features the same opulent body, class-leading safety, late-breaking luxuries and time-tested value that every new Mercedes-Benz is known for. Of course, other models like the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class, Mercedes-Benz M-Class, and Mercedes-Benz E-Class played their part too in giving the Blue and White Shield a good Halloween scare.
